Koenigsegg is considered by many to be one of the greatest supercar builders. Their cars are always on the leading edge of performance and technology. They don’t focus on one area of the car; track prowess, top speed, electronics, aerodynamics or suspension, but rather they advance every aspect to be competitive with the best the rest can offer in each category. It is amazing what such a small manufacturer like Koenigsegg has been able to do competing against multi-million and multi-billion backed efforts from the likes of Porsche, Ferrari and McLaren.

Koenigsegg has been around for quite a while now. They were founded in Sweden in 1994 and the first production car was delivered in 2002. In 2005 their second model, the CCR, broke the longs standing top speed record of the McLaren F1.

Hennessey Venom GT – The Controversial Supercar

The Hennessey Venom GT is no-doubt one of the fastest cars available, but it is also one of the most controversial. The automotive community is split into two camps; those that love the car for it’s speed and don’t doubt it’s supercar status and those that hate it and claim it is not a real production car but a highly modified Lotus that belongs in the same category as any modified Viper or Corvette.
